Sacombank Cambodia Organized the Sales Skills Workshop

On October 21, 2023, Sacombank Cambodia organized the Sales Skills Workshop presented by Mr. Chhoun Chhen – Deputy General Director and Mr. Song Nam Khorng – Head of Business Department with the participation of all the Managers and Sales staffs of 09 Branches as well as Business Department at Head Office.

The workshop focused on the purpose of helping Sales employees to understand Sales capability and modern Sales trend, the importance of Sales methods as well as the professional Sales procedure.

At the beginning, Mr. Phung Thai Phung – General Director emphasized the importance and urgency of equipping knowledge and skills for caring and developing customers to Sales staffs and hope that the sharing session will bring more useful information and experience so that the sales force can apply confidently and effectively in daily work and achieve goals as well as develop personal capacity. This workshop will be the first one in a series that relates to business and will continue to be organized in the near future.

After that, Mr. Chhoun Chhen gave his presentations on the content of Correctly Understanding Sales Competency and Modern Sales Trend. Going through the content step by step such as: identify existing and potential customers, determine the demands of each customer group for the Bank’s products and services, stimulate sharing clients’ needs and provide appropriate solutions… Employees gradually go deeper into the shared content via direct interaction with multiple-choice questions and simulated situations to increase the vividness and ease of grasp so that it can be immediately applied to the sales practice of each employee.

The staff continued to listen to Mr. Song Nam Khorng’s sharing about the professional Sales process. Every step of the pre-during–after-sales procedure, from initial customer contact to the sale closing, is shared wholeheartedly and in detail. He also asked quick-checking questions to ensure “Sacombank Cambodia’s Sales Warriors” exactly and completely grasped the methodology to apply accurately and effectively. That is also the goal that the sharing session aims to achieve.


The workshop took place in a joyful but highly focused atmosphere and received a positive and enthusiastic response from the Sales force, together raise questions and answer to share sales knowledge and experience, especially the sales trend changes in the current era of rapid and strong technological development.

As Mr. Sean Sitha – Preah Norodom Branch’s Manager commented: “The sharing topic is very important for Sales team, it has brought us useful knowledge in selling, which is drawn from successful Salesmen, has proposed a way to organize and deploy professional Sales work. The prepared content is very good and hope to join more useful sharing sessions like this in the near future”.

Ms. Sum Samey – Phsar Heng Ly Branch’s Head of Accounting & Fund Department, participating in program shared: “The workshop is very good for Sales staff, the lecture is quite good, the more workshops you can attend, the better you will get.”


With positive comments and assessments from sales managers to employees, it shows the effectiveness that the workshop has brought, which also speaks to the success of the organizing team. This is a great motivation for Sacombank Cambodia to carry out subsequent programs to meet the needs of improving the capacity of the Sales force as well as all operational streams’ employees.


Business is never easy and requires perseverance and daily efforts to build relationships and trust with customers. A long and difficult journey will be rewarded when the first business targets gradually appear. It will be a source of great and meaningful spiritual encouragement for each of sales staff to get energy and desire to conquer new peaks and exceed assigned plan targets.
